World's Easiest Pizza Dough

No yeast, no rising, no kneading or rolling!

Use any 1:1 ratio of Greek yogurt and Self-Rising Flour - this will depend on the total number of people you're serving as well as desired pizza thickness. Typically, we use a 1/2 cup of yogurt and 1/2 cup of flour if we're making one small pizza and double that if we want a medium size pizza.

Ingredients:

  • Self-rising flour

  • Greek yogurt

  • Dried or fresh herbs - Basil, Oregano, Sage, and Thyme (optional)

  • Desired toppings

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 and spray pan with olive oil.

  2. In a bowl, combine your equal parts of yogurt and flour. Mix together with a spoon unti dough ball forms.

  3. Place dough in center of baking sheet and spread using your fingertips to desired thickness. Sprinkle herbs overtop until the whole dough is lightly covered.

  4. Bake dough for 8-10 minutes and remove from oven.

  5. Add toppings and return dough to oven baking for an additional 8-10 minutes.

When using 1/2 cup of each ingredient, this will make a small pizza with 4 slices. We topped ours with grilled red, orange, and yellow peppers, sweet onion, and mushrooms, light sauce, and gouda cheese. We didn't measure the toppings but roughly used 4 thinly sliced mini peppers, a quarter of a medium sweet onion, 1/4 cup of mushrooms, 2 tablespoons sauce, and sprinkled the cheese until the toppings were all lightly covered.

*Side notes:

  • I always try to buy and use unbleached products, especially flour. However, as you can see in the picture all we had in the pantry was bleached flour so we had to just roll with it.

  • I choose yogurts based off of their sugar and protein content, looking for low sugar and high protein. This brand Friendly Farms is from Aldi and has low sugar and high protein. Other brands I really like are the FAGE and OIKOS which we get at Walmart. I avoid flavored yogurts as much as possible as they have a ton of added sugar and instead buy plain yogurt and flavor it myself at home using things like bananas, almonds, dark chocolate, strawberries, etc.
